Abstract

Bulldozer justice, the removal of the properties as a form of punishment without fair and proper legal process, poses a major threat to the rule of law. This approach disregards judicial due process and undermines constitutional rights, rendering it unconstitutional. It replaces rule of law and lawful accountability with vengeance, eroding the foundation for democracy. Rather than encouraging people to seek legal remedies through the justice system, bulldozer justice negates the spirit of a fair trial, diminishing public confidence in the judiciary and setting an undesirable precedent. The maintenance of the legal principles requires respect to the legal processes for providing justice to the victim.
